Over the last year, I have noticed that many speakers do not have a Tech Rider AND many event planners and A/V teams are asking for it. A technical rider tells the event planner, venue and a/v team what your needs, expectations or requirements are for the time that you are speaking on their stage.
If you are a seasoned speaker, you know exactly what your preferences are. When you want your media played. How you want to lights and sound to be. What type of mic you want. Will a confidence monitor be provided? etc, etc, etc....
Let's keep it simple. If you are a speaker, you need a tech rider. If you don't have one, then you can download the Sample Tech Rider that I created for you right here.
