Do you use mindmaps?

Unread post by krangara » Tue Jul 21, 2015 12:05 pm

"Generic ideas lead to bland, generic mindmaps. These don’t make anyone want to write anything." - Daphne Grant

I don't know how to 'mindmap'. I don't doodle

Daphne Grant, one of my favorite bloggers, wouldn't like my confessions. A firm believer of the power of mindmaps, and a recently converted fan of doodles, she lists 8 mistakes writers make with their mindmaps
a. Vague ideas
b. Too many words
c. Perfectionism
d. Fail to draw circles around your ideas: This one made me smile...a psychological trick!
e. Get stuck in one idea
f. Fail to doodle
g. Don't use big enough paper
h. Don't adapt
So who is gonna help me with mindmapping? :P

Hugs all around

Live without inhibition, love without restriction, laugh without hesitation - you are an inspiration to all! So smile and watch others curve their lips upwards too! ;)

I can do mindmaps. They don't work for my brain. I have linear thinking when it comes to planning, time management and organizations. Mindmaps really eff me up... lol!
