In a thread about Steven Tylers new "country song", Jessica Maynard and I kind of dissed him that he wasn't country unless he mentioned a few things (like drinking...). So here is a real country and western song. It is from WAAAAAAY back in 1975. David Allen Coe nailed it with how a real country song should be.

Man oh man! I love old school country. They really knew how to write and sing. This is the country that I grew up with. My dad is a big country guy and I prefer to listen to country over any other kind of music. I'm an unapologetic country girl.

How fun, I love it about the 3:30 minute mark, can we also add using the word "darlin" and a reference to Jesus as a prerequisite for county songs!?!
