WOOHOOOO! Go Lany! I soooo need this inspiration... And Jess, your post resonated with me too. Kit, will you be my cheerleader too?

I am at the top of my weight scale not including pregnancy weights, but this time I don't have a post-pregnancy excuse. I need to cut out sugars and simple carbs. My hubby keeps telling me he wants to go Paleo again, and then he'll buy a six pack of pepsis and chips and other junk. I keep falling back into it with him...

I think if I can start working out every day, even just a little, I can find myself being more committed to my eating habits as well. Oh, and I can sit all day at the computer and never get up except to go to the bathroom. SOOOO not good for me, I know.

Michele, I sit all day too and it's a killer. I walk to the grocery store, Starbucks, everything. I also make sure that I take Mika for at least one walk if not two a day. I've been a little slack on that with these headaches.

Some days my workout is only 15 minutes. I am also doing a very extreme/hardcore workout series, so I am busting my ass in that 15 minutes. I never workout for more than 35 minutes at a time. I'm almost full paleo right now. I prefer it, to be honest.

When I was at my healthiest 2 1/2 years ago, I was 85-90% paleo and I felt SO good. I was athletic and getting nice and toned. Man, I cannot wait to be back to that point. I don't need to be skinny. I need to be healthy.

I just did 6 minutes of Tabata style exercise a la You Are Your Own Gym and pulled my back... LOL>

I am in sorry shape. But tomorrow I'll do a little more. Time for a hot bath...

Thank you Lany!

Only 5% of the population works out every day. I aim to be in that 5% and whip myself back into shape! Good thing I only did 6 minutes. LOL

I am so excited for you, and it motivates me!!! Congrats Lany on your accomplishments and commitment to hard workouts, and clean eating.

I did my 6 minutes today (Day 2), easing in, but going for daily bits and building from there.

Thanks Michele. It's not always easy, but in the end it will be worth it.

Yay for you! Day 2 is in the books! Keep it up!

How's your progress going Lany? When I called you the other night, and you were walking...my heart surged for you with pride.

As I start my own journey back to health, I know how difficult it can be to take that time to take care of you.

Personally, I am 9 for 9 on daily exercise and on Day 6 of my Whole30 Clean Eating. I am having headaches and fatigue but that's normal with the detox my body is going through. I can say, though, that I am not having cravings, nor am I feeling hungry between meals.

Great job Michele! I'm SO proud of you!

I'm doing good. Staying consistent. I needed to change up my food a bit because I was getting bored and found I wasn't eating enough. That is probably my biggest struggle is eating enough and getting bored with food.

I decided though the other day that I am going to do this workout program through the end of October and then switch it up. It feels good to be back on track with eating good and working out. I do miss my coffee and wine though.

Fortunately I'm allowed my coffee, but alas no wine.

I am following the Whole30 program, and I do have to get creative. I don't normally eat breakfast, and I have to force myself on this program. High quality protein, veggies, and a healthy fat at every meal.

Funny though, the BOUNDARIES are really making me be creative with food planning and preparation.

It definitely does make you get creative. I could have coffee if I wanted, but I cut out the creamer or the cream and sugar. I hate straight black coffee...ick!
