3 Stages of Creative Energy

Unread post by MicheleJennae » Wed Dec 09, 2015 1:35 pm

Like it or not, business is a creative pursuit...even if you're not in the business of the arts.

Need creative energy? Give it a little GAS!

We all know that it takes energy to see a creative process through, but what we might not realize is that there are different types of energy that we need to be aware of to be more effective and efficient in that creative process.

They are Germination Energy, Assimilation Energy, and Satisfaction Energy. or GAS!

Germination Energy
Beginning something new always generates excitement, like the thrust of a rocket. New ideas carry with them their own energy…for a while. This energy will not carry you through to the complete execution of your idea. But it’s not meant to. It’s purpose is to carry you to the next energy stage.
Unfortunately, a lot of people want the germination energy to carry them through, and when that energy source runs out, the project fizzles. But being aware that this will happen, you can anticipate and move from one to the next with practice.

To find out more about the other two types of creative energy, go to... 3 Stages of Creative Energy

This totally makes sense... What happens with the projects/ideas that we think are a good idea, but fizzle out not because of Assimiation but because it's a good idea and the wrong time to implement? I think there are many people, myself included, who have great ideas, but not everything pans out because it just wasn't the right time to launch it or it really just wasn't the best use of our time and resources.
