In this article on Digiday, well known digital publishers share how they measure influence. Many business owners and entrepreneurs are searching for the golden ticket to social media influence, but they have missed one key element in my opinion. They have forgotten to follow those who have come before us.

There are huge brands and publishing houses that have the financial and personnel resources to test and test and test what many smaller businesses cannot. Stop what you are doing and pay attention to what these companies have spent thousands and millions of dollars on and figured out.
