Resizing Your Avatar Pic (Any Pic) Using Pic Monkey

Unread post by JessMaynard » Thu Jun 25, 2015 8:25 am

I saw a few people having a hard time getting their Avatar pic to fit for their forum profile. I found this super easy video for resizing a photo from when I was first learning to do a resize. It uses free features of the popular site picmonkey.com and takes very little time at all. Also, for the forum your best bet it is to have the custom size 150 x 150 then it should come in under the pic requirements. Hope this helps.

Thanks Jess,

At times I forget things that are second nature and simple to me.
I have heard PicMonkey is one of the best simple image manipulators and anyone can use it.

Thanks for posting this video!

Brad, I seriously use this ALL the time! And I think the video is all of 30 seconds! I have upgraded to the Royale version, which is a whole $4.99 per month but it opens up a lot more fonts and other features I was wanting to use. Once you start using it a lot, it becomes a sensible business expense!

Hmmmm, I have never used PicMonkey. Sounded complicated, so I just stick with what I know.
I also worry about image degrading when you upload to another site to edit, not sure if that happens...it could just be my brain over thinking.

I can see why people would use it rather than having an image editor on their machine, if they only do a few things, it might be easier.

I watch YouTube videos.

I love picmonkey too! I pay for it annually. I'm in it just enough that it is worth the $33 a year.
