We’ve all been there…you know back in the olden days before Youtube when we would hear a new song on the radio and have an idea of what the song was all about and then…the music video would come out and we said “WTH is this?”

Here is a perfect example of words not jiving with the visual. If you know the song ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ then you will really understand this video and what I am talking about.

This is a reminder to all of you who are doing video…do your images even remotely tell the same story that your words do?

Oh man! This is hilarious! Some music videos make absolutely no sense at all. Sometimes I think the video can actually ruin the song!

Yes, the videos can screw you up once you think you know what the song is about.

Same thing happens with some business videos, they think they are relaying a message and the visuals just don't match. Of course you can't please everyone, but geesh.

It's funny...the more videos I watch the more times I find myself saying WTF! Some of these video creators make absolutely NO sense at all. Makes me not want to watch video. I like the video that plays in my own head more often....LOL!

One of the HUGE mistakes I also see is when people add text to a video and the text does not match the words being spoken. People can not read one thing and listen to another and really get the complete message of both.

It's the same as the example above...the brain only focuses on 1 part and it can screw everything up if that brain cell gets on the wrong track.
