All of us who have made videos have been down the road of those 1st few videos where we felt odd on camera.
Some of us started doing video with screen sharing or using a puppet, so we didn't have to show our face...then we just had to get over the sound of our own voice.
Anyway, in this video by Video Creators, Tim gives some tips to help you be more comfortable in front of a cam.

I will add that I think you also have to be honest with yourself. When you watch your 1st videos you may notice that your teeth are crooked, you have a wrinkle, your eyes are big, your ears are not level...Guess what...that is just how you look and it is ok!

If we were are perfect beauty queens, how boring would that be?

It took me a long time to get comfortable with just me and the camera and no one else on the other side. Holy crap.. it's been a good year and a half. I'm still not 100% comfy, but I am way better than I was.

Fantastic video share Sheryl!!!
I love all of his advice, I think it is spot on & so encouraging! It can be hard and even once feel comfortable, I sometimes need to give myself a bit of a pep talk to get myself out there again. I am sharing this one for sure!!
